I’m a father, husband, and immigrant, and for nearly a decade I’ve trained and competed in jiu-jitsu. That mix of discipline, empathy, and endurance shapes how I work and live. Before content design, I taught writing as a university lecturer while earning my MFA in creative writing, which taught me that communication is both a science and an art. Outside of design, I write poetry and paint, exploring the same balance of precision and emotion that guides my professional work. My non-linear career has given me a wide view of how people connect with products and with each other. I speak multiple languages and still live in the same Bay Area city where I grew up.
